Friends of St. Vincent's (Friends) is a unique international development organization whose primary purpose is to work its way out of existence. Our ultimate goal is to help CAHSAV (adult residents of St. Vincent's Center for Children with Disabilities) be self-empowered, independent, model leaders in the Haitian disability community. We invite you to:

  • Donate now to support CAHSAV educational scholarships, leadership and technical training, micro-business startup costs, French resource materials, or fund CAHSAV 's most pressing needs. We can't do this without you.

  • Provide resources such as artisan supplies, computers, training materials, and daily living supplies. We source as many items in Haiti as possible to support local Haitian businesses and the local economy. When items aren't available in Haiti, we hand-carry during our trips or ship when cost-effective. Contact us for a current list of material needs. We can't do this without you.

  • Volunteer on the ground or from home. If you want to join as a thought-partner, technical advisor or just plain good-hearted individual, let us know.  We invite you to volunteer virtually from home or in Haiti during one of our trips to conduct on-site assistance. Whether you have technical expertise in the areas of disabilities, education, small business startup and nonprofit work, or you simply have a heart for service, there is room for you with Friends of St. Vincent's. Contact us for current volunteer opportunities. We can't do this without you.

  • Share information about the work of Friends and CAHSAV with your own friends. Link them to our website, Instagram or Facebook page. We call that Friends Squared… using the multiplier effect to increase our family of supporters. We can't do this without you.

Friends of St. Vincent’s is a small but passionate group of people dedicated to coming alongside Haitians with disabilities to support their journey to independence. Our focus is providing educational opportunities because, through education, people can lift themselves up and build a better life of their choosing. Our commitment to this work began in 1995 and, with your support, continues today.
