Friends of St. Vincent's (Friends) took the time to connect with each CAHSAV member (adult residents of St. Vincent's Center for Children with Disabilities) in an effort to better understand their skills, aspirations and dreams within their community. These conversations gave us the opportunity to think humbly about strategic ways to partner with CAHSAV to pursue and reach their goals without causing dependence on external volunteers and resources. We are excited to share those exchanges with you, beginning with our friend and brother, Kenson.

Friends of St. Vincent’s is a small but passionate group of people dedicated to coming alongside Haitians with disabilities to support their journey to independence. Our focus is providing educational opportunities because, through education, people can lift themselves up and build a better life of their choosing. Our commitment to this work began in 1995 and, with your support, continues today.
